Speaker of Shura Council Meets President of Pan-African Parliament

HE Speaker of the Shura Council Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim met today with HE President of Pan-African Parliament Fortune Charumbira, and his accompanying delegation, who is visiting the country.
During the meeting, HE the President of Pan-African Parliament congratulated the government and people of the State of Qatar on the great success in hosting the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, stressing that he was keen to visit the State of Qatar to thank it for hosting the best edition in the history of the tournament. He praised at the same time the comprehensive growth in the country, appreciating Qatar's contributions and support for sustainable development efforts.
The meeting discussed bilateral relations between the Shura Council and the Pan-African Parliament and ways to enhance them, in addition to discussing a number of issues and topics of concern to both sides and ways to increase coordination regarding them.
A number of Their Excellencies officials and members of the Shura Council attended the meeting.
