Shura Council Speaker Partakes in PUIC Meetings

The consultative meetings of the Arab Group, in the Parliamentary Union of OIC Member States (PUIC), started here on Monday with the participation of HE Shura Council Speaker Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud and his accompanying delegation.
The meeting was held as part of the meetings related to the 14th session of the PUIC conference, which is held in Rabat between 11-14 March.
The Consultative meeting discussed a host of topics, including the activities of the political affairs and foreign relations committee, economic and environment affairs committee, human rights committee and women and family committee in addition to the committee on cultural and legal affairs and dialogue of civilizations and religions.
The meeting also discussed, among other issues, the nomination of four members of the Arab Group for membership in the Executive Committee for 2019 and hosting the next meeting of PUIC the Executive Committee.
