Internal and External Affairs Committee Holds Meeting

The Internal and External Affairs Committee of the Shura Council held a meeting on Wednesday, chaired by its Rapporteur HE Abdulla Bin Fahad Bin Ghorab Al Marri.
The Committee discussed at the beginning of the meeting a draft law on the diplomatic and consular corps, attended by HE Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi and HE Director of the Legal Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al-Thani, and decided to submit their recommendations of the draft law to the Shura Council.
Meanwhile, The Committee discussed a draft law to adjust some provisions of law no. (15) of 2011 on combating human trafficking, in addition to the draft law to adjust some provisions of law (21) of 2015 on Organizing the entry, exit and residence of the expatriate, and decided to submit its recommendations thereon to the Shura Council.
