Shura Council Speaker Meets UN Under-Secretary-General for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs

HE Speaker of the Shura Council Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud met with HE Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs Rosemary DiCarlo, on the occasion of His Excellency's participation in a two-day parliamentary hearing in New York.
The meeting reviewed ways to enhance cooperation between the State of Qatar and the UN, and discussed the most important issues related to the parliamentary field.
A number of members of the Shura Council and HE Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the UN Ambassador Sheikha Alya Ahmed bin Saif Al-Thani attended the meeting.
