The Shura Council State of Qatar

The Shura Council's Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee held its first meeting today, as part of the council's 48th ordinary session.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Committee re-elected HE Nasser bin Rashid Saria Al Kaabi as its rapporteur for this session.

The Financial and Economic Affairs Committee of the Shura Council held a meeting today, and the Committee re-elected HE Ali bin Abdullatif Al Misnad Al Mohannadi, as its rapporteur for this session, the committee also discussed Decree-Law No. 24 of 2019 regulating and managing the strategic stock of food and consumer goods, and decided to complete its study at its next meeting.

Moreover, The Public Services and Utilities Committee of the Shura Council held its first meeting, and at the beginning of the meeting, the Committee re-elected HE Mohammed Mahdi Al Ahbabi, as its rapporteur for this session, the committee then studied a draft law regulating medical treatment abroad and decided to complete its study at its next meeting.

The Internal and External Affairs Committee of the Shura Council held its first meeting, and at the beginning of the meeting, the Committee re-elected HE Abdullah Bin Fahad Bin Qurab Al Marri, as its rapporteur for this session, the Committee then studied a draft law on the diplomatic and consular corps , and decided to complete its study at its next meeting.

The Cultural Affairs and Information Committee of the Shura Council held its first meeting , the Committee elected HE Khalid Bin Muhamed Al Kubaisi, as its rapporteur for this session
