Speaker of Shura Council Arrives in Djibouti

HE Speaker of the Shura Council Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud arrived Monday in Djibouti City, heading the State of Qatar's delegation participating in the 42nd

Conference of Speakers of Parliaments of the African Parliamentary Union (APU), slated for 26-29 November.

His Excellency and his accompanying delegation were welcomed upon arrival at Djibouti International Airport by HE Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Djibouti Mohammed Ali Hamad Charge d'affaires of the Embassy of the State of Qatar in the Republic of Djibouti Faisal bin Rashid Al Nuaimi.

The conference will discuss several topics on the agenda, including cooperation between the APU and other regional and international parliamentary unions.

The participation of HE Speaker of the Shura Council in the conference comes to enhance parliamentary dialogue and cooperation relations between the Shura Council and the African Parliamentary Union as well as other African parliaments participating in the conference.
