Shura Council Speaker Meets IPU Secretary General

HE Speaker of the Shura Council Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud met on Sunday with HE Secretary General of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Martin Chungong, on the sidelines of the 130th IPU anniversary.
During the meeting they reviewed the bilateral relations between the Shura Council and IPU and the ways to boost and develop them. They also discussed a number of issues of common concern.
The meeting was attended by HE Permanent Representative of Qatar to the UN in Geneva Ambassador Ali Khalfan Al Mansouri.
