  Bachelor’s degree in Planning, Qatar University.

Parliamentary Career

  Member of the Shura Council (2017–2021).
  Member of the Shura Council, First Legislative Term (2021–2025).
  Has served on several Council committees; he currently serves as a Member of the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee.
  Elected as a Member of the Committee on Peace and International Security at the Inter-Parliamentary Union in 2019, and later elected as its Chairman from 2021 to 2024.

Professional Experience

  Mr. Al-Ahbabi has advanced through various leadership roles until becoming Director of the Recruitment Affairs Department at the Ministry of Interior. He has also served on numerous key national committees, including:
Member of the Committee for the Preparation of the Permanent Constitution of the State.
  Member of the Board of Directors of Qatar Chamber.
  In 2025, H.E. was elected Chairman of the Trade and Research Committee at Qatar Chamber.
