He holds a PhD in Information Systems of Accounting, a Master’s degree in Technology Management with a specialization in Accounting Information Systems, and Bachelors in Management and Economics majoring in Accounting from Qatar University.
He promoted tomany leadership positions, as he was appointed Minister of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture, then Minister of Civil Service Affairs and Housing, and Acting Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, then Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, and Minister of Labour.
He was appointed chair of many local Councils and committees, including the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Institute of Administrative Development, the Chair of the Public Works Authority, and the Vice-President of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (FAO).
