Shura Council Member Elected PAM Vice-President

HE Member of Shura Council Abdullah bin Nasser Al Subaie was elected Thursday as Vice President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM), and member of the PAM's Bureau for the period 2023-2024.

This came in the work of the second day of the 17th session of the PAM's Assembly, which concluded today in the Moroccan capital, Rabat.

The assembly also elected HE President of the House of Councilors of the Kingdom of Morocco Enaam Mayara as the PAM President succeeding Portugal's Pedro Roque. HE Member of the Jordanian Senate Alia Hatoug-Bouran and HE Member of the Palestinian National Council Bilal Qasim were elected as vice presidents.

The Southern Mediterranean Group, which will assume the PAM's presidency of the next session nominated in a previous meeting its representatives for those positions, and they were chosen today to take over their duties by the PAM assembly.
