The Shura Council Lights Up its Building in Blue in Line with the Autism Awareness Campaign

As part of the State of Qatar’s participation in World Autism Awareness Day, which falls on the second of April every year, the Shura Council illuminated its building in blue in solidarity with the global campaign implemented by the Autism Speaks organization under the title “Moving From Surviving To Thriving: Autistic Individuals Share Regional Perspectives”
It is noteworthy that dedicating this day annually to raise awareness of autism came based on a proposal submitted by the State of Qatar and adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in 2007 as a World Autism Awareness Day.
