Shura Council’s Health and Public Services Committee Discusses “Meteorological Activities”

The Health, Public Services, and Environment Committee of the Shura Council held a meeting today, chaired by H.E. Mr. Mubarak bin Mohamed Al Kuwari, the Committee’s Chairperson.
During the meeting, the committee discussed a draft law on the regulation of Meteorological Activities and Services and decided to continue its study in an upcoming session.
Additionally, the committee reviewed the government’s statement regarding the proposal submitted by the Council on “rainwater accumulation and the damages it causes,” which had been referred to the committee in a previous session for study and feedback. The committee decided to submit its report on the matter to the Council.
