The Shura Council State of Qatar

The Committee on Education, Culture, Sports and Information of the Shura Council held a meeting today, chaired by His Excellency Mr. Khaled bin Ahmed Al-Obaidan, Chair of the Committee.
During the meeting, the Committee continued its study of the request for a general discussion on “enhancing the social, cultural and values-based role of sports clubs and their activities,” in the presence of a group of experts and specialists in this field, who presented their views and perspectives and responded to the inquiries and remarks of Their Excellencies members regarding the subject.
At the conclusion of its meeting, the Committee decided to continue its study of the topic at a forthcoming meeting.
