The Shura Council State of Qatar

The Social Affairs, Labour and Housing Committee of the Shura Council held its first meeting in the current term, chaired by His Excellency Dr. Sultan bin Hassan Al Dhabit Al Dossari, Chair of the Committee. The Committee elected by acclamation His Excellency Member Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al Maliki as Vice-Chair of the Committee, in accordance with Article (30) of the Shura Council’s internal regulations. 
Meanwhile, the Legal and Legislative Committee held its first meeting, chaired by His Excellency Mr. Khalid bin Ghanim Al Ali, Chair of the Committee. During the meeting, the Committee elected by acclamation His Excellency Mr. Salem bin Rashed Al Merakhi as Vice-Chair of the Committee. The Committee also discussed a draft law amending certain provisions of Law No. (3) of 2016, concerning the registration of births and deaths.
