The Shura Council State of Qatar

The Health, Public Services and Environment Committee of the Shura Council held a meeting today, chaired by His Excellency Mr. Abdullah Al-Subaie, Chairman of the Committee.
During the meeting, the committee continued its discussions on a draft law amending some provisions of Law No. (24) of 2010 issuing the Pesticides Law (System) in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and decided to submit its report on it to the Council.
The committee also reviewed the government's statement regarding the proposal submitted by the council concerning "Agricultural support mechanisms provided to local farms and their contribution to enhancing food security," which had been referred to it by the council. At the conclusion of the meeting, the committee decided to submit its report, including its opinion on the aforementioned statement, to the council.
