Shura Council’s Social Affairs Committee Discusses Government Statement on “Recruitment Agencies for Domestic Workers”

The Social Affairs, Labor, and Housing Committee of the Shura Council held a meeting today, chaired by H.E. Mr. Abdulrahman bin Yousuf Al-Khulaifi, Chairman of the Committee.
During the meeting, the Committee discussed the Government’s statement regarding the recommendations submitted by the Shura Council concerning the reorganization and oversight of domestic worker recruitment agencies, which had been referred to the Committee by the Council.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Committee decided to submit its report, including its opinion on the aforementioned statement, to the Council.
