Shura Council Participates in the Coordination Meeting of the Gulf Parliamentary Group

The Shura Council participated today in the coordination meeting of the Gulf Parliamentary Group, which was held via videoconference in preparation for the meeting of the Political Affairs Committee of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly, scheduled to be held in Mashhad, Islamic Republic of Iran, from June 18 to 19.
The Council was represented in the meeting by H.E. Engineer Ahmed bin Hitmi Al-Hitmi, Member of the Shura Council and Vice-President of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly.
The meeting discussed the agenda items of the committee’s upcoming meeting, exchanged views and proposals, and coordinated Gulf positions on the matters under discussion.
