Speaker of Shura Council Meets Chairperson of Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean

HE Speaker of the Shura Council Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud met on Tuesday with HE Chairperson of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM) Gennaro Migliore, and HE Secretary General of PAM Ambassador Sergio Piazzi, who are currently visiting the country to participate in the opening of the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism (UNOCT) program office on Parliamentary Engagement in Preventing and Countering Terrorism.
During the meeting, they reviewed relations between the Shura Council and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean, as well as ways to enhance and develop them, especially in the parliamentary field.
The meeting was attended by HE Ambassador of the Italian Republic to the State of Qatar Alessandro Prunas.
