Shura Council's Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee Meets

The Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee of the Shura Council held a meeting on Thursday, chaired by its Rapporteur HE Nasser bin Rashid bin Sraiya Al Kaabi.
During the meeting, the committee continued studying a draft law on endowment (Waqf), in the presence of Director-General of the General Directorate of Endowments (Awqaf) Dr. Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Thani, and representatives of the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs Director of the Legal Affairs Department Mohammed bin Hassan Al Maliki and a legal specialist at the Legal Affairs Department Ibrahim Mohammed Al Busairi.
The Committee decided to submit its recommendations on the aforementioned draft law to the esteemed Shura Council.
