Shura Council Participates in International Meeting on Young Womens Political Participation and Leadership

The Shura Council took part on Wednesday in an interactive online parliamentary event on young womens political participation and leadership, co-organized by the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and the Office of the United Nations Secretary Generals Envoy on Youth (OSGEY).
Discussions during the meeting focused on the challenges faced by young women in engaging in political leadership and enhancing the participation of young women in political decision-making.
The Shura Council was represented at the meeting by HE Reem bint Mohammed Al Mansouri, member of the Council.
