PAM Accepts Qatar's Request for Permanent Membership

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM) accepted the application for permanent membership of the State of Qatar, represented by the Shura Council, and decided to raise the request for approval by the parliamentary assembly to be held during the first quarter of 2022.

This came at the conclusion of the PAM Bureau Meeting, which was held in the Italian capital, Rome, with the participation of the Shura Council.

HE member of the Shura Council Abdullah bin Nasser bin Turki Al Subaie represented the Council in the meeting. His Excellency delivered the State of Qatar's speech before the members of the Parliament, expressing thanks and gratitude of the Shura Council for accepting its request to be a permanent member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean.

HE Abdullah bin Nasser bin Turki Al Subaie stressed the desire of the Shura Council to increase joint cooperation with the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean in the future.
