Education Affairs Committee Discusses Government Statement on “Media Content in Digital Platforms”

The Education, Culture, Sports, and Media Affairs Committee of the Shura Council held a meeting today, chaired by H.E. Mr. Khalid bin Ahmed Al-Obaidan, Chair of the Committee.
During the meeting, the Committee discussed the government’s statement regarding the Council’s wish-based proposals on regulating the production and dissemination of media content on digital platforms, which had been referred to the Committee by the Council.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Committee decided to submit its report, including its opinion on the mentioned statement, to the Council.
