Secretary-General of Shura Council Meets Secretary-General of IPU

HE Secretary-General of the Shura Council and President of the Arab Association of Secretaries General of Parliaments (AASGP) Dr. Ahmed bin Nasser Al Fadhala met on Tuesday with HE Secretary-General of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Martin Chungong on the sidelines of the 144th IPU General Assembly, held in Bali, Indonesia.
The meeting addressed the work plan for future joint activities between the two sides.
HE Secretary-General of the IPU renewed his congratulations to Dr. Ahmed bin Nasser Al Fadhala on his recent election as President of AASGP, expressing his aspiration to strengthen cooperation between the two sides in the future.
For his part, HE Secretary-General of the Shura Council pointed out the keenness to enhance prospects for constructive cooperation between the IPU and the AASGP.
