The Shura Council State of Qatar

H.E. Mr. Hassan bin Abdullah Al-Ghanim, Speaker of the Shura Council, met today with a delegation from the Thani bin Abdullah Humanitarian Services Foundation, headed by Dr. Ayed bin Dabsan Al-Qahtani, Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation.
During the meeting, the parties reviewed the humanitarian, social, and community initiatives, projects, and programs implemented by the Foundation with the aim of promoting compassion, achieving social solidarity, strengthening moral values, and advancing charitable work within Qatari society.
His Excellency was also briefed by the delegation on the “Eafaf” project, recently launched by the Foundation, which aims to support young people preparing for marriage through the provision of financial assistance, in addition to counseling and guidance programs, thereby contributing to the establishment of stable families and the promotion of values of chastity and community solidarity.
H.E. the Speaker of the Council commended the important role of the Foundation within the framework of its ongoing mission to promote humanitarian work and consolidate the values of solidarity and community care. He also praised the quality initiatives and projects it has recently launched to support those in need.
The meeting was attended by H.E. Mr. Khalid bin Abbas Kamal Al Emadi and H.E. Mr. Essa bin Ahmed Al-Nasr, Members of the Shura Council.
