Deputy Speaker of Shura Council Meets Several Parliamentarians on Sidelines of IPU General Assembly

HE Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council and Head of the Shura Council's delegation participating in the 144th General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Dr. Hamda bint Hassan Al Sulaiti held a series of meetings with several parliamentarians on the sidelines of the IPU General Assembly.
Her Excellency met separately with HE Speaker of the Kuwaiti National Assembly Marzouq bin Ali Al Ghanim, HE Speaker of the Indonesian People's Representative Council Puan Maharani, HE Second Deputy Speaker of Lower House of Jordan Haitham Ziyadin, HE Secretary-General of the IPU Martin Chungong, and HE Member of the People's Representative Council of Indonesia Fadli Zon.
During the meetings, they reviewed the cooperation relations between the Shura Council, the Kuwaiti National Assembly, the Indonesian Parliament, the Jordanian Parliament, and the IPU, and ways to strengthen them. Also, they reviewed several topics on the agenda of the IPU General Assembly and exchanged views on them.
