Arab Parliament Concludes Second Session with Shura Council Participating

The second session of the Arab Parliament's third legislative meeting was concluded in the Jordanian capital, Amman with the Shura Council taking part.
At the outset of the session, members of the Shura Council took the oath to join as members of the Arab Parliament.


Participants at he session reviewed a number of topics related to the joint Arab parliamentary work, and ways to strengthen and develop it to a broader horizon, as well as a number of topics on the agenda pertaining to the political, economic and social situation in the Arab world.


They also discussed the challenges facing the Arab world and ways to overcome them by activating the parliamentary role of members, and developing opportunities for parliamentary participation in decision-making for the benefit of the Arab world.


The Council was represented at the session by members of the Shura Council HE Sheikha bint Yousuf Al-Jufairi, HE Issa bin Ahmed Al-Nasr, HE Salem bin Rashid Al-Muraikhi, and HE Hamad bin Abdullah Al-Mulla.
