The Shura Council State of Qatar

The Social Affairs, Labor and Housing Committee of the Shura Council held a meeting today, chaired by HE Dr. Sultan bin Hassan Al-Dabet Al-Dosari, Chairman of the Committee.
During the meeting, the committee continued to discuss the request for a general discussion on "The Importance of the Role of Parents in Raising Children", which was referred to it for study by the Council. The meeting was attended by  representatives from the Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs, namely Mr. Jassim Abdullah Al-Ali, Director of the Proclamation “Da'wah” and Religious Guidance Department, and Mr. Mohammed Abdullatif Al-Mahmoud, in charge of the duties of the Director of the Mosques Department, where the Ministry's pivotal role in the subject of family education, and the awareness programs and initiatives it provides  in order to  stabilizing the community, and enhancing the role of the family in supporting and raising children on good educational ethics and values.
At the end of the meeting, the Committee decided to complete its study of the subject at a future meeting.
