The Shura Council Participates in Parliamentary Seminar

The Shura Council participated Thursday in a Parliamentary Seminar on action to end statelessness by 2024, organized by the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and UN High Commissioner for Refugees via video conference.
During the seminar, discussions focused on enhancing awareness of statelessness issues, and how parliamentary work and parliamentarians can contribute to reducing statelessness by enacting the necessary legislations and laws to eliminate this phenomenon by 2024.
Shura Council was represented by HE Dr. Yousif Bin Mohammed Al Obaidan , member of the council.
