The Shura Council State of Qatar

The Education, Culture, Information, and Sports Affairs Committee of the Shura Council held a meeting today, chaired by H.E. Mr. Khalid bin Ahmed Al-Obaidan, Chair of the Committee.
During the meeting, the Committee discussed the general discussion request submitted by a number of Their Excellencies the members, regarding the teacher’s role in encouraging the values of national identity. The discussion took place in the presence of Mr. Omar Abdulaziz Al-Naama, Assistant Undersecretary for Private Education Affairs at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, along with a number of ministry officials.
The ministry representatives responded to the Committee’s inquiries on several topics related to the aforementioned request.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Committee decided to submit its report on the subject to the Council.
