The Shura Council State of Qatar

The Health, Public Services and Environment Committee of the Shura Council held a meeting today, chaired by H.E. Mr. Abdullah bin Nasser bin Turki Al-Subaie, Chairman of the Committee.
During the meeting, the Committee continued its study of the request for a general discussion concerning the prevalence of obesity among children in the State of Qatar, in the presence of a number of specialists from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and the Primary Health Care Corporation, who responded to the inquiries and remarks of Their Excellencies the members regarding the aforementioned matter.
At the conclusion of its meeting, the Committee decided to continue its study of the request for discussion at a forthcoming meeting.
