Shura Council Speaker Meets Turkish National Assembly Speaker

HE Speaker of the Shura Council Hassan bin Abdullah Al-Ghanim met today with HE Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of the sisterly Republic of Turkey Mustafa Sentop, on the sidelines of the 143rd meeting of General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union which is being held in the Spanish capital of Madrid.
During the meeting, aspects of cooperation and existing bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries in the parliamentary field and ways of enhancing them were reviewed. In addition, the two sides discussed topics on the agenda of the General Assembly.
The meeting was attended by HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of Spain Abdullah bin Ibrahim Al Hamar, HE member of the Shura Council and Chairman of the Council's Internal and External Affairs Committee Dr. Ali bin Fetais Al-Marri, and HE Secretary-General of the Council Dr. Ahmed bin Nasser Al Fadhala.
