Shura Council Speaker Meets Inter-Parliamentary Union Secretary-General

HE Speaker of the Shura Council Hassan bin Abdullah Al-Ghanim met today with HE Secretary-General of the Inter-Parliamentary Union Martin Chungong on the sidelines of the 143rd General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, currently underway in the Spanish capital Madrid.
During the meeting, the existing parliamentary relations between the Shura Council and the Inter-Parliamentary Union, and ways of supporting and strengthening them, were reviewed. Topics on the agenda of the General Assembly were also discussed.
The meeting was attended by HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of Spain Abdullah bin Ibrahim Al Hamar, HE member of the Shura Council and Chairman of the Council's Internal and External Affairs Committee Dr. Ali bin Fetais Al-Marr and HE Secretary-General of the Council Dr. Ahmed bin Nasser Al-Fadala.
