The Shura Council Participates In a Coordination Meeting On the Sidelines of the 17th Session of the Conference of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC)

The Shura Council participated in the consultative meeting of the Gulf Group on the margins of the seventeenth session of the Conference of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC), held in Algeria.
Their Excellencies Members of the Shura Council H.E. Mr. Mubarak bin Mohamed Al-Kuwari and H.E. Mr. Amair bin Abdulla Alnaemi represented the Shura Council in the meeting.
During the meeting, representatives of Gulf councils discussed a number of issues related to the coordination of positions between them. Representatives of Gulf councils were also agreed on in the Standing Committees of the PUIC, where the Shura Council joined the Economic and Environmental Affairs Committee of PUIC.
On the sidelines of the meeting, the Council delegation met with His Excellency Mr. Mohammed Al-Halbusi, President of the Iraqi Council of Representatives. The two sides reviewed the topics on the Conference's agenda and discussed parliamentary cooperation between the two sides and ways to strengthen it.
