Shura Council Participates in Parliamentary Forum About Accelerating Recovery From Effects of Covid-19

The Shura Council participated in a parliamentary forum titled 'Accelerating Progress on the 2030 Agenda post-Covid' which was held by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) in cooperation with the League of Arab States and United Nations' organizations operating in the Arab region, via visual communication technology.
Discussions during the forum focused on policies and procedures required to accelerate the recovery from the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic and make a real progress that enhances the economic, social and environmental dimensions of sustainable development in the Arab region.
The Shura Council was represented in this forum by HE Dr. Hend Bint Abd Al Rahman Al Muftah, a member of the Council.
