Secretary-General of Shura Council Meets Secretary-General of IPU

HE Secretary-General of the Shura Council and President of the Arab Association of Secretaries General of Parliaments (AASGP) Dr. Ahmed bin Nasser Al Fadhala met on Wednesday with HE Secretary-General of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Martin Chungong.
During the meeting, which was held via videoconferencing, they discussed ways for the IPU to support the AASGP. Also, they touched on areas of joint cooperation between the two sides in supporting and rehabilitating the secretariat of Arab parliaments, as well as reviewing a cooperation mechanism to support the implementation of the IPU strategic objectives.
