The Shura Council State of Qatar

The Education, Culture, Sports and Media Affairs Committee of the Shura Council held a meeting today, chaired by H.E. Mr. Khalid bin Ahmed Al-Obaidan, Chairman of the Committee.
During the meeting, the Committee continued its study of the request for a general discussion on “enhancing the social, cultural and value-based role of sports clubs and their activities,” in the presence of a number of specialists from the Ministry of Sports and Youth, along with representatives of sports clubs. They presented their views and proposals and responded to the inquiries and remarks of Their Excellencies the Committee members regarding the aforementioned topic.
At the conclusion of its meeting, the Committee decided to continue its discussion of the matter at its next meeting.
