The Shura Council Lights up Its Building in Blue to Ensure an Awareness Campaign for Autism

As part of Qatar's participation in the observance of World Autism Awareness Day, which is April 2nd every year, the Shura Council has illuminated its building in blue in solidarity with the global campaign of Autism Speaks under the title "Light in Blue".
This day was devoted annually to raising awareness of autism, based on a proposal made by the State of Qatar and adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations in 2007 as World Autism Awareness Day.
Autism is a disorder that affects a child in his or her early years and leads to difficulty in communicating with and interacting with others.
