Shura Council Participates in Parliamentary Webinar on COVID-19, Inclusive Societies

The Shura Council participated on Thursday in a parliamentary webinar entitled "COVID-19 and inclusive societies", held by the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) and Parliamentarians for Global Goals (PFGG).
Discussions during the webinar, in which a number of experts in various fields participated, focused on how to make the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic positive in relation to the achievement of inclusive societies, by preparing laws that enhance representation, allocating the necessary budgets, and adopting new standards such as achieving luxury.
The Shura Council was represented at this webinar by HE Khalifa bin Ali Al Hetmi, Member of the Council.
