The Cultural and Information Affairs Committee Discusses the Situation of Qatar University in the Presence of the University’s President.

The Cultural and Information Affairs Committee of the Shura Council held a meeting today under the chairmanship of H.E. Mr. Khalid bin Ahmed Al-Obaidan, Chairman of the Committee.
During the meeting, the Committee discussed the situation of Qatar University, in the presence of H.E. Dr. Hassan Al-Derham, President of Qatar University, Dr. Omar Al-Ansari, Vice President of the University for Academic Affairs, Dr. Maryam Al-Maadeed, Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies, and Dr. Khalid Al-Khanji, Chief of Strategy and Development at Qatar University. The officials responded to the Committee's queries on a number of topics related to the subject.
At the end of the meeting, the Committee decided to complete its study of the subject at its next meeting, in the light of discussions and answers to its queries by Qatar University officials.
