Chairman of Shura Council Internal and Foreign Affairs Committee Meets Austrian, UN Officials

HE Member of the Shura Council and Chairman of its Internal and Foreign Affairs Committee Dr. Ali bin Fetais Al Marri met today with HE President of the Austrian National Council Sobotoka Wolfgang, on the sidelines of the 4th coordination meeting of the Parliamentary Assemblies on counter-terrorism, which concluded its work in the Austrian capital Vienna today.
The meeting dealt with a number of topics related to parliamentary cooperation between the two friendly countries and ways to enhance them were reviewed, as both sides stressed the need to continue cooperation and communication in this aspect.
HE Dr. Al Marri also met with HE Director of the United Nations Counter-Terrorism Center in New York Mauro Medico.
The meeting dealt with discussing the center's projects, programmes, and plans especially the ones executed by the UNOCT Programme Office on Parliamentary Engagement in Preventing and Countering Terrorism (headquartered in Doha)
