The Shura Council State of Qatar

H.E. Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Sheikh, Speaker of the Shura Council of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and His Excellency Mr. Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, Speaker of the House of Representatives of the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain, arrived in Doha today, to participate in the seventeenth regular meeting of the heads of the Shura, Representatives, National, and Ummah Councils of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. Al-Khaleej Al Arabiya, which will be hosted by Doha tomorrow, Tuesday.

Upon their arrival at Doha International Airport, they and the two delegations accompanying them were welcomed  by His Excellency Mr. Hassan bin Abdullah Al-Ghanim, Speaker of the Shura Council, and a number of Their Excellencies members of the Council.

He also arrived in Doha today, His Excellency Mr. Saqr bin Ghabash, President of the Federal National Council of the United Arab Emirates, where he was welcomed upon his arrival by His Excellency Dr. Hamda bint Hassan Al Sulaiti, Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council, and a number of H.E. Council members.

His Excellency Mr. Jassim bin Mohammed Al Budawi, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, and His Excellency Mr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Nadabi, Secretary-General of the Shura Council of the sisterly Sultanate of Oman, arrived in Doha today to participate in the 17th regular meeting of the heads of the Gulf legislative councils, where they were received upon their arrival in Doha. Hamad International Airport, His Excellency Dr. Ahmed bin Nasser Al-Fadhala, Secretary-General of the Council, President of the Association of Secretaries-General of Arab Parliaments.

His Excellency Mr. Adel bin Abdul Rahman Al-Asoumi, Speaker of the Arab Parliament, also arrived in Doha today to participate in the meeting, where he was welcomed by His Excellency Mr. Nasser bin Mohammed Al-Nuaimi and His Excellency Mr. Nasser bin Hassan Al-Kubaisi, members of the Shura Council.
