Shura Council Participates in Gender-Responsive Recovery Post-COVID-19 Meetings

The Shura Council participates in a series of parliamentary meetings on Gender-Responsive Recovery Post-COVID-19, held by the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) in partnership with UN Women.
The meetings will continue until April 21, via video conference technology.
These meetings will discuss several topics, the most important of which are women's economic empowerment, violence against women and girls, gender-sensitive parliaments and gender-sensitive legal reforms.
The Shura Council is represented by HE Ali bin Abdullatif Al Misnad Al Mohannadi, HE Mohammed bin Ali Al Henzab, HE Dr. Hind Bint Abdul Rahman Al Muftah, and HE Reem Bint Mohammed Al Mansoori, members of the Shura Council.
