Qatar Participates in Arab Parliament Hearing Session on Sudan

A hearing session held by the Arab Parliament to remove the Sudan from the "State Sponsors of Terrorism List" kicked off Sunday at the headquarters of the League of Arab States in Cairo.
The State of Qatar is participating in the session by a delegation chaired by HE Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Sulaiti
The session is held based on the resolution of the Council of the League of Arab States at its 29th session in April, 2017, to adopt the plan of the Arab Parliament to remove the name of Sudan from the list of States sponsoring terrorism.
The session is scheduled to issue a statement of solidarity and support for Sudan's request to be removed from the State Sponsors of Terrorism List.
