The Shura Council State of Qatar

 HE Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council and chair of the Shura Council delegation to the 145th IPU Assembly currently convened in Kigali, Rwanda, Dr. Hamda bint Hassan Al Sulaiti met Friday with several parliamentarians participating in the meetings of the IPU Assembly.
Her Excellency met separately with HE President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean Gennaro Migliore and HE Vice-President of Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe and the of the Austrian delegation Reinhold Lopatka.
During the two meetings, they discussed the existing cooperation relations between the Shura Council, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean, and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, and ways to enhance them.
Her Excellency also discussed the Shura Council membership in the office of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean and means to enhance and coordinate the cooperation between the two sides with HE President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean.
Her Excellency also met with HE Inter-Parliamentary Union Senior Advisor Mokhtar Omar, where they discussed relations of cooperation and coordination between the Shura Council and the IPU and ways to further enhance them.
