Speaker of Shura Council Confirms the Important Role of APA in Achieving Security , Safety

Activities of the second meeting of the Executive Council and 12th Plenary Session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) continued with the participation of the Shura Council.
HE the Speaker of Shura Council Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud heads the Council's delegation to the meeting .
In a speech delivered on this occasion, HE the Speaker of the Shura Council expressed satisfaction and readiness to cooperate to realize the objectives of the APA in promoting security, peace and stability in the region and the world, stressing its important role in this regard.
The Asian Parliamentary Assembly unanimously approved the recommendation regarding the Shura Council of the State of Qatar be granted full membership in the APA.
HE Speaker of the Shura Council extended thanks and appreciation to the APA for the unanimous decision welcoming the Shura Council of the State of Qatar as a full member.
His Excellency commended the Republic of Turkey's good organization for this meeting and praised discussing the important topics that concern all participants.
