A delegation from the Shura Council headed by the deputy speaker of the council meets with the Jordanian deputy prime minister

A delegation from the Shura Council, headed by Her Excellency Dr. Hamda bint Hassan Al Sulaiti, Deputy Speaker of the Council, met with His Excellency Mr. Nasser Al Shraideh, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Minister of State for the Modernization of the Public Sector in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, within the framework of the official visit that the Council delegation is currently making to Jordan.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency Mr. Nasser Al Sherida welcomed the Shura Council delegation, praising the distinguished fraternal relations between the State of Qatar and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, looking forward to more cooperation between the two sides to achieve the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples.
The Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister praised Qatar's development efforts and its call for peace and resolving differences through dialogue as an approach to resolving crises. He also praised Qatar's hosting of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, stressing that it was an honor for all Arabs.
For its part, the Shura Council delegation noted the importance of this visit, stressing that it will undoubtedly contribute to strengthening the existing parliamentary relations between Qatar and Jordan.

During the meeting, a number of issues related to the existing bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and ways of enhancing them were reviewed, especially in the parliamentary field. The meeting also touched on the Palestinian cause and the importance of supporting it.
On the other hand, during the meeting, the two sides condemned the disgraceful behavior of a number of extremists by burning copies of the Holy Quran in a number of countries, stressing that these provocative acts contribute to fueling extremism and intensify hate speech.
The Shura Council delegation includes His Excellency Mr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Kuwari, His Excellency Mr. Issa bin Arar Al-Rumaihi, His Excellency Mr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Sada, and His Excellency Mr. Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Subaie, members of the Shura Council.
