The Shura Council State of Qatar

HE Secretary-General of the Shura Council Dr. Ahmed bin Nasser Al Fadala stressed that the commemoration of the National Day represents an opportunity to recognize, preserve and cherish the achievements that have been made and move forward towards Qatar's promising future under the wise leadership of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani.

In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), His Excellency said that recognizing this occasion that is dear to everyone represents an opportunity to recall and consolidate the principles and values established by the Founder Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed bin Thani and renew the pledge to continue on this approach followed by the founding fathers in consolidating the bonds of unity, cohesion, solidarity, and steadfastness in authentic principles and values, in addition to preserving the gains and achievements that were made.

He praised the determination, solidarity, and the high patriotic spirit of the Qatari people, which enabled them to overcome all difficulties and contributed to them moving towards their future with confidence and stability, stressing that these noble values of the Qatari people were reflected in their keenness to support the oppressed, extend a helping hand to those in need, and react to the concerns of the Arab and Islamic nations.

HE Secretary-General of the Shura Council Dr. Ahmed bin Nasser Al Fadala stressed at the conclusion of his statement that loyalty to the Founder's life is through hard work with every citizen performing his or her duties and obligations towards their country with honesty, impartiality and sincerity, while keeping in mind the values of Islam and the supreme interests of the country and taking inspiration from the lessons learned from the Founders biography and the directives of the wise leadership in an effort to achieve the elevation and prosperity of the nation.
