Shura Council Joint Committee Continues to Discuss Social Insurance, Military Retirement Draft Laws

The joint committee of the Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee and the Economic and the Financial Affairs Committee of the Shura Council met Wednesday in the presence of HE Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council Dr. Hamda bint Hassan Al Sulaiti.
HE Chairman of the Economic and the Financial Affairs Committee Mohamed bin Yousef Al Mana chaired the meeting, during which the committee continued discussing the "social insurance" and "military retirement," draft laws, where the committee finished discussing the draft social insurance law and made inquiries about the aforementioned draft.
The committee will hold a meeting on Thursday to discuss the draft military retirement law.
The joint committee will continue to study the two draft laws by holding intensive and continuous meetings to finalize them soon in line with the council's keenness on the interest of the citizen.
