Shura Council Holds First Meeting of Third Ordinary Session of First Legislative Term, Corresponding to Shura Council's 52nd Annual Session

The Shura Council held Tuesday its first meeting of third ordinary session of the first legislative term, corresponding to the Shura Council's 52nd annual session at Tamim bin Hamad Hall in the Council's headquarters, headed by HE Speaker of the Shura Council Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim.
At the outset of the session, HE Secretary-General of the Shura Council Dr. Ahmed bin Nasser Al Fadala read out the agenda.
In the first article, His Excellency read Decree No. 59 of 2023, inviting the Shura Council to hold the third ordinary session of the first legislative term, corresponding to the Shura Council's 52nd annual session.

We, Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar.
After perusal of the Constitution, Law No. 7 of 2021 regarding the Shura Council, Decree No. 33 of 2023 to adjourn the second ordinary session of the first legislative term, Hereby promulgate the following: Article (1) The Shura Council is invited to the third ordinary session of the first legislative term, corresponding to the Shura Council's 52nd annual session, on Tuesday, Rabi II 9, 1445, corresponding to Oct. 24, 2023.
Article (2) All competent authorities, each within its jurisdiction, must implement this decree. It shall be effective from the date of issuance and published in the Official Gazette.
Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani Amir of the State of Qatar Then, HE Speaker of the Shura Council Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim delivered a speech in which he expressed on his behalf and on behalf of the members of the Council the deep thanks and appreciation to HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, for patronizing the inauguration of a new session of the Shura Council, in its national blessed path.
HE Speaker of the Shura Council praised the contents of HH the Amir's speech, which form the Council's approach and the beacon that illuminates its path. His Excellency hailed the achievements that have been accomplished internally and externally under the wisdom and leadership of HH the Amir.
