Shura Council Participates in 6th Meeting of GCC-European Parliamentary Committee

The Shura Council participated Tuesday via videoconferencing in the sixth meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)-European Parliamentary Committee.
The Council was represented by HE Member of the Shura Council Nasser bin Mohammed Al Naimi.
During the meeting, the participants discussed several topics covering cooperation between the GCC members' parliaments and the European Parliament, in addition to enhancing economic cooperation, development efforts, and ways of exchanging opinions over topics of mutual interests.
The participants also reviewed ways to increase mutual visits, and discussed topics related to human rights, energy security, and efforts to reduce carbon emissions, as well as food and water security.
